About Us

At Salmon River Chiropractic we believe in addressing each patient with a comprehensive strategy involving physical adjustments, education, nutritional support, and wellness planning. The Doctors at Salmon River Chiropractic have helped many people get free from debilitating pain and medication. Our balance of holistic whole body care and sound medical knowledge ensures that you are in good hands.

Chiropractic has evolved through the years.  It is not simply about ‘a bone out of place putting pressure on a nerve and causing pain.’  Our advanced and successful care is based on the fact that STRUCTURE DETERMINES FUNCTION, we know that if structural weaknesses are not addressed that functional problems will not be ‘fixed’.  By taking spinal films, when necessary, to assess your structural integrity we can truly see the root or cause of your symptom or health problem.

From Dr. Coffey...

Long term stress can have detrimental effects on our physiology which even includes decreased function of our immune system.

This is why most students will get sick during or right before finals week; it's the result of too much added stress. Of course, the majority of our physiology is a reflection of how we "perceive" our environment.

Most people waste their time today worrying about circumstances that we honestly have no control over. Our worst enemy is our own MIND. This is why you have to be proactive when it comes to maintaining homeostasis in your body and find healthy ways to better adapt to the so called "stressful" environment.

Exercise + eating a diet consisting of healthy fats, veggies and proteins + regular #chiropracticadjustments + #massage + meditation + #yoga + positive #affirmations are just a few different things you can add to your daily/weekly routine to help your body better adapt to your environment, however you perceive it!
