When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, Quincy, I continued to get adjusted. It helped relieve a lot of the mid-back pain, nausea and dizziness I was suffering from during my pregnancy. When Quincy was born she was suffering from severe tummy aches. I was looking for a way to relieve her pain that didn't involve medications. Long term stress can have detrimental effects on our physiology which even includes decreased function of our immune system.

This is why most students will get sick during or right before finals week; it's the result of too much added stress. Of course, the majority of our physiology is a reflection of how we "perceive" our environment.

Most people waste their time today worrying about circumstances that we honestly have no control over. Our worst enemy is our own MIND. This is why you have to be proactive when it comes to maintaining homeostasis in your body and find healthy ways to better adapt to the so called "stressful" environment.

Exercise + eating a diet consisting of healthy fats, veggies and proteins + regular #chiropracticadjustments + #massage + meditation + #yoga + positive #affirmations are just a few different things you can add to your daily/weekly routine to help your body better adapt to your environment, however you perceive it!
